Flash video n' related stuff
It’s been a long time in the works… the Adobe Developer Connection has just published their whitepaper on “Large Scale Streaming Deployments on Flash Media Interactive Server.” While not a light read, it gives you (hopefully) all the information you need to configure and deploy large-scale applications with FMIS. I’ll be involved in updating the paper in the future as well, so please comment if you have any feedback on the contents. Happy reading!

Hi Lisa,
I am still studying your Playlist example but I am having problem getting it to work and I meant to watch you new design on Flash CS4 Pro. I was able to see everything function with the older version Flash CS3 Pro.
I have Flash player 10 updated.
What do you think is the problem?
I also have the Flash Media Server 3 to use as my server. I uploaded the FMS folder to the vod folder.
How do I suppose to call it on the IE browser in order to view the video?
rtmp://localhost/vod/ or http://localhost/vod/
@Jos
Yes, in IE on the same machine runnig FMS, you should be able to view the videos using rtmp://localhost/vod/ in your connection string. Did you upload your videos to the media folder within the vod folder in applications? There should be no difference between CS3 and CS4 builds in this case…
