hi John,

Chapters 2, 3, and 4 don't have any resource files, so those folders are empty. All the other files should be in their respective folders. If you have trouble finding any resources, please let me know and I'll point you in the right direction.

cheers

@vinayak,
Do you have any Flex user groups near you? I always find that's the best way to learn; from those who are doing it... if not, I'd try Lynda.com for some tutorials, or Flex 3 Cookbook: Code-Recipes, Tips, and Tricks for RIA Developers (if you learn best from examples) or the books Learning Flex 3: Getting up to Speed with Rich Internet Applications.

good luck!

@Greg
It depends what you need to do. If you have high-performance applications and need the benchmarking/optimization capabilities, or need to implement charting, you'll want to get the Pro version. Otherwise, the standard version should be all you need.

Lisa:

I know you could do it.
Flex its just AS3 without the timeline. I know you can paint the town red and make it work. Let me know if you need help. I am here to lend a helping hand.
